Geelong Legacy

 

LEGACY, founded in 1923 by a small group of World War 1 veterans is an independent, voluntary organisation dedicated to the welfare of the widows and children of veterans of war and peacekeeping operations, and of members of the Australian Defence Force who gave their lives on hazardous service or in training for war.

Legacy assists widows in need of financial or other welfare assistance (e.g. medical and dental expenses, household, home repairs ,etc dependent on circumstances
