ABOUT US
The
Geelong Veterans' Welfare Centre is a non profit, volunteer organisation,sponsored
by the Victorian state branches of the Vietnam Veterans Association of
Australia and the Returned and Services League.
We are a member of the Victorian Regional Welfare Centres network which
is supported by the Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA)
MISSION
The Geelong Veterans Welfare Centre exists to serve members of Australia 's veteran and defence force communities, war widows and widowers, widows and dependants, through programs of advice re care, compensation, and pension services available to them .

Centre
We have a well used tea and coffee facility at the St john of God office.
clients and potential clients are welcome to drop in during office hours
for a cuppa and a chat. We will receive Vietnam Veterans Association membership
fees and an understanding GDVVAA office bearer is often available and
willing to tell and listen to a few war stories, or talk about your garden
if, as many have, you chose to leave all that baggage behind you.

Our services are provided free of charge, however donations are appreciated.
