EXTREMELY DISABLED WAR VETERANS

ASSOCIATION

Of Victoria (inc)

GEELONG SECTION

If you receive a disability pension at the Extreme Disablement Adjustment (EDA) rate you may be interested in information on relevant Associations in Victorian which have been set up for your assistance. These associations are independent of DVA. Please contact either Association direct if you require further information on their objectives or would like to inquire about membership or assistance which they might be able to provide.

These Associations' objectives are to assist EDA pensioners as a group; to serve the interests of those on EDA pensions and ensure they are aware of their entitlement and eligibility for fringe benefits,' to seek greater parity paid to TPl recipients and to monitor legislative or other proposals which may affect their members; to promote the welfare of EDA carers whether they be wives to otherwise and to promote and support all matters relating to members' welfare.

Geelong EDA is a section of the state EDA Association and meet on the last Tuesday of the month excluding December and January of each year.

We meet at the Geelong RSL. Barwon Heads Road - Function Rooms commencing at 1400 hours (2pm). At the conclusion of the meeting afternoon tea and refreshments are then enjoyed by all attending, we invite you and would be pleased to see and welcome you to our friendly meetings.
